Default rear end, tps Q's

Does anyone know the stock rear end ratio in an SC300 auto? Also what is the min and max voltage that the 1JZGTE TPS reads??

Sorry, I hope someone can explain this to me.. as i know absolutely nothing about ratios/rear ends... Im guessing the lower the ratio the better?

I have an auto SC, and i plan on dropping a 2JZGTE in her, and also doinig a standard w58 swap. Should I also swap out the 5speed rear end? what about drive shaft? Will I be fine/safe using the auto rear diff/shaft? Should I just look for a TT reardiff/shaft?

Think of gear ratio's this way.

The lower the # the lower your rpm in top gear @ a specific highway speed.
Just a example:
3.00 = 2,100 rpm
4.00 = 2,800 rpm

In the opposite view, the higher the ratio # the more "pull/ launch" off the line.
But your distance/ mph in 1st gear will be shorter/ lower.

In general for a "swap" if the ratio's are reasonably close you'll be fine unless
you are looking for a "race" set up.

I can't comment on the SC auto rear w/ 5peed trans set up as I have never
driven this combo. Although there are a lot of people here that do run this.
In theory 1st gear may be a little short, & rev a little higher on the highway.

Do you know if the differential from a 98-00 SC400 will bolt up to a 1992 SC300 Manual? I think it would be great to lengthen my gears a little bit with a lower rear end ratio.

Anyone know? I would love to have a 3.266 differential! It would allow me to put off getting a six speed a little longer and give me a little better gas mileage.
