Default Porting intake on SC400

I have been tossing the idea of porting the intake on my sc400. I was thinking of purchasing another Plenum and Intake manifold off of Ebay and having some port work and gasket matching done. Has anyone done this and what type of gains, if any, could be made? I had the plenum and injector housings ported on my previous Corvette and it made some impressive gains, 25rwhp gained as a matter of fact. Now I don't know if that type of gains are possible on the 4.0L V-8 in my SC400. But it would be interesting to find out. I know that by just doing some port to gasket matching 5 to 10 hp increases can be had on most V-8s. Just a thought.

i plan on doing the same. but with throttle body it's important to have the plate replaced as well. imo with intake/exhaust work, i think e PnP Intake Manifold/TB could net around 15.
