Default 1jz help PLEASE HELP!!

I am thinking of buying a motor for my 92' 300 5 spd.. Do you guys know if it is possible to swap an engine if it came with a auto tranny attached to it to my 5spd?.. and also Will the auto ecu work with what i have? Let me know.. thanks

So can I use my 5spd with this new 1jz?

You can use an auto 1J in a 5-speed. It requires splicing in the starter plug from your US harness.

A guy I talked to did that exact swap. He only had to lengthen the harness, splice in that starter plug and splice in a resistor for the instrument cluster. That's in general btw.
