1jz sc starts up but dies when throttle is pushed
My car was running fine yesterday until I got home. I attempt to push on the throttle and notice it cut out (thinking maybe it was fuel cut). So I drove the car up the hill and seems to get worse, the more I push on the throttle it would just cut out.
As I was turning into my apartments the car dies. It took a couple of cranks to get it running again and it just sputtered the rest of the way, and then died when I parked it. WTF. I jumped in it today and still took a couple of cranks to start up and barely put my foot on the gas it died. My guess is maybe the fuel pump has gone out or the fuel filter is clogged up. Can anyone help? Thanks

did you upgrade your fuel pump? this happens to me once in a while and i noticed my walbro pump sometimes does not come "on". all i did was to shut if off for a few seconds and started it up again. i think it's a bad connection of my pump for the power source.

Its behind the drivers side passenger window. Take out the seat (3 bolts) and careuflly undo the panel. Hook the two big power wires together. Theres posts all over that get more detailed.
