start up problems...
My friend changed his battery during the summer. He's been having trouble starting his car now. It's a 92 sc300 5 spd(if that's of any help)

Did you put in the correct battery?? I know for a fact that batteries other than the one reccomended will not start up your vehicle. Double check and make sure you picked up the correct one for your friend's car.
