Another 14851 install - sounds good doesn't it? I like them - they're quiet when you want them to be and loud at WOT - perfect combination IMHO.

That should be fine if he had an X-pipe welded on to his setup. It keeps it from losing some torque where it is most needed.

Any chance you would have a video with the sound?

Is the noise from these really loud on the interstate?

I have 2.25" piping with the mufflers the shop had, and the sound just like echoes and is kind of annoying inside the car sometimes (sounds good outside), but I was looking to get these or the street series ones.

i have a video of it inside and out of my car, but never had the chance to transfer it to my computer yet. but on the interstate lets say crusing around 80mph it's not loud at all IMO.

Well thats good. Theres videos all over of these mufflers and the street series ones on 400's, but I haven't found many good ones of 300's so far.

If you do decide to get it up somewhere post it here

I'll be deciding what to get either way before SB (march 13-18th) but I'll definatly post some videos of my old setup, inside and out and the magnaflow's inside and out. I'm probably leaning more towards the 14829's since I want the throaty sound, but I don't want it to be loud on the interstate for me.

I think it might be worse on the 5spds sometimes becaue we end up crusing at 3000-3500rpm's going 80-90, so it ends up louder than an auto or 400 cruising at that speed, not to mention a totally different sound with the 400's.

Very nice I just got the 829's myself along with a 2.25 X-pipe, installing this weekend. So with your setup, you have true duals with no resonators?
