This was the case with mine, it only took one roll down of the window to bend the rod. If this happens to you, you will have to bend the rod back, there should not be alot of tension pulling the rod back out of the door handle.

I had it happen where the window bent the arms down and one snapped off. The arms are NOT replaceable and you have to replace the entire unit, which is $300+ from Carson Toyota.

The part number for the clip for the smaller Lock Arm is 69293-24050 and should be around $3.

Took off the door panel, and found this in the bottom of the door. Any idea what I have to replace? Looks like the plastic clip broke, but the rod also broke.

gg for you son, you gotta replace the whole thing which cost about 300 new i think. I paid 135 for mine cuz it was used, altho my rod wasnt broken until I broke it myself when attempting to fix it

but to make a long story short, i think you should take it to a shop and have them do it since it's gonna be a beech process to do it yourself.

+1 for Elmhurst. They have very good prices (better than my local dealership that i have an account with) and excellent customer service. They let me return something that i bought almost a year ago for my swap that i never used!!

bar peice is not sold separate, it is part of the entire mechanism. i have the complete assembly 100 shipped to your door.
