Dragon lextreme?
Looking for links on where to buy these converters. Now that I am ready to buy it seems like all the links I had are no good. As long as you are linking me, any opinions on which one is better? I have searched the threads and it seems like it's not defined.

Any body know how the lextreme TC compares to the Dragon?
Ive heard the dragon has considerable performance improvements over rebuilt tc's. Speed cost $$$. If indeed there is a considerable difference it might be worth it to get the Dragon. Just looking for the facts. Thanks.

hmmm. That thread seems to be mostly an arguement about lextreme with a little bit of useful info. Still, no one has made any statements about performance differences. PI advertises "better torque multiplication", which I guess is the statement that peaked my interest and encouraged me to find out what the differance was on a performance level. I think that either TC would suffice from a durability standpoint, but I'm looking to find best performance.

there's only so much you can do to a TC, i dont think you'll ever get two differing TCs side by side in a race, the savings alone would be worth it to me though.

Dragon has a weight advantage and smaller rotational mass which equates to quicker response and performance if only slight along with stronger internals not that anything is wrong with the OEM internals. More information available here:
http://www.converter.com/comparison/index.htm
Whether the slight performance advantage and durability of the Dragon over an OEM rebuild is worth the additional cost is opinion based on a variety of factors-checkbook balance included-so no need in putting in my opinion as everyone's situation is different.
Also check on availability of cores as the two times I tried to purchase they did not have one available.
