Default 6 speed torsen in sc400?

hi
want someone confirme that:
may I use 6 speed torsen mechanism (only torsen not all pumpkin) and bolt it to my stock sc400 ring and pinion?

that way I can have same ratio 3,92 (stock v8) and have torsen diff. I heard that 6 speed have bigger ring that is bolt to torsen case on12 not 10 bolts and it will not work with my pumpkin case. Only supra tt automatic will work cause have smaller ring and it is 10 bolt??

same question about all pumpkin from supra 6 speed. Heard that it will need change left axle too cause 6 speed diff is biger on left side and stock axle will be too long...
se that:

someone can confirm that?

No, it will not work. You need to use auto diff. Yes, you need to change the axle when switching to 6 speed diff with case. Supra TT auto diff should just swap in even through the case is different than the SC diff case (no cooling fins).

I second that opinion(?)
Besides the 10-12 bolt and size difference in the ring gear, there is also a size difference in the carrier bearings. The 6-spd LSD internals are just not compatible with anything from the SC or the TT Auto.

if I decided for supra tt 6 speed rearend must change left axle too.
what about drive shaft , can I use stock sc400 driveshaft and will it be bolt on to supra tt 6 speed rear end? or not?
thanks

Why would you do this in the first place. If you can't re-use the ring gear and worm gear from your SC then your gear rations will be that of a Supra TT 6 speed. This would make your car very very slow and who knows if it wouldn't break your transmission.

You would be going from 3.9:1 ratio to 3.2:1 ratio. That is a big difference.
