Default 2jz-Gte into an Sc400... I know it has been covered before...

Well my main question is whether a full swap (transmission and motor) is basically a direct bolt on and whether there needs to be an sc300 driveshaft? I know there are some questions about the 1uz tranny not bolting up but i would be getting the auto transmission with the gte motor so that isnt a big deal. Any help would be appreciated..

I believe you'll need the SC300 drivetrain (w58 and driveshaft i think) because the 1uz doesn't bolt on to the 2jz. That needs to be custom fitted. The w58 is the stock sc300 tranny and that will bolt right up.
