What do i need to do to get rid of my distributor?

Default What do i need to do to get rid of my distributor?

TT coil packs, 7M-GTE cam position sensor .... what else?

it took me a while of searching just to get those 2 items and that ethan banks did it....

but thats all i could find on how to get rid of the distributor....

(its all part of my plan to go NA-T)

haha yea that would prolly be the easiest way....

but i still haven't decided to go 1jz or NA-T yet.... i am leaning towards NA-T though..... its just the engine bay looks so cluttered NA-T....

hence my quest to figure out how to get rid of distributor (without costing an arm and leg) as well as the ugly crossover IM/TB

My original plan was NAT also.. but after reviewing costs, and turboing a motor with 120k miles on it.. i went 1JZ

okay so 7mgte cam sensor, TT ignitor and coil pack, and an emanage...

fair enough.... i think i might do it

that does sound like a wiring nightmare....


although i did find someone selling a emanage ultimate with the harness all plug and play so...

what about usuing a tt cps? this seems to make more sence to me but maybe im retarded.. also i plan on usuing A***s new individual coil packs

The TT CAS (cam angle sensor) is on the intake side and is driven off the cam, thus the NA cam doesnt have the gear on the cam or the hole in the head needed to run it.
