I don't have one Im just curious but what do you guys and gals think a R154 out of a soarer or chaser (both with the shifter ext. on back) is worth? Just tranny and shifter nothing else.... The reason I ask is because I found one and the guy wants $1500.00 plus shipping and I personally think thats too high... I know they are rare and all that but still........ What you all think? What is the going rate if one comes up forsale?This is not a forsale question its a question question only...

Most definetly! 1500 is a damn rip. Complete swaps dont even go for that price anymore.

your prob. right but how often have you seen a 1JZ-R154 soarer swap forsale? I would love to have it BUT not for that price

Wait till you see how much a Getrag costs! That is a little on the pricey side, but then the hardest part of the R154 is finding the 1JZ bellhousing that fits the SC; and this one does.

that is a rip off bro. I bought a full soarer front clip for $1800 about 3 years ago. $1500 for a tranny? no freaking way.
