Is it worth the extra hassle of swapping a 1jz from a supra?

Default Is it worth the extra hassle of swapping a 1jz from a supra?

I know there are quite a few changes to be made.... oil pan, wire harness, etc...

but i found a really clean motorset and is complete from uncut harness (which would prolly not matter to me anyways) to sidemount IC.

It also inlcudes ta r154 tranny (for the supra though) which is why i'm considering it.

I understand that there is also some things to change on the r154 from the supra to make it work for the SC.

Just curious on your guys's opinions or if i should just wait for a SC clipc to come

if u know how to fix the wiring, and make it work correctly, go for it. If not, just wait for a soarer set and plug and play

well it depends how much they are selling it casue you can get the proper soarer 1jz for 1k around there and it requires very little mod to put it in the sc but if it is a great deal and you have sources to get the wiring done go for it good luck on your decision

its not the best deal... its just real clean and i trust the company selling it..... and the biggest plus is the r154 tranny it comes with.

I have no clue how different the wiring is or how difficult it would be to change the necessary items on the r154 to fit the SC.... that's why i was trying to figure out if anyone has done it.

If you have no experence with wiring a toyota, or wiring in general.. pay a shop ALOT of $$$$ to do it, or just wait for a soarer swap
