SAFC2 Install on 93 SC300
Here is my install photos and a little correction on which map to use.
By doing research here, I found that most people uses the T7-a map to install theirs.
I did some study from the Technical manual, and found that T7b map is more appropriate to use.
Here are the pin out from ECU and where they connect to on SAFC2.
pin 31 Battery (+) Plus/Positive, connect to red wire
pin 43 Throttle Position Sensor, connect to grey wire
pin 49 Knock Sensor 2, connect to purple wire
pin 50 Knock Sensor 1, I don't use this due to mention on clubna-t.com about rear cylinder leaning/knocking more than the front cylinders. While if you follow T7-a map, you will connect to this pin instead of Knock Sensor 2.
pin 57 IGT (Ignition Trigger), connect to green wire
pin 58 IGF (Ignition Feedback), this is not used, because it is igniter feedback line to ECU if it actually fires or not.
pin 66 Volume Air Sensor, connect to pink/orange wire.
Sensor output connect to orange.
ECU input connect to pink.
pin 69 Ground, connect black and brown wire to this.
Alright that is all I have for now. Attaching T7-B pin out, ECU pin out, and some photos of the install.

First, always disconnect battery before working on cars electronics.
Next, opening the carpet is simple, remove door sills by pulling on it starting from rear to front, then pull carpet back enough to expose plastic covering of the ECU.
Two 10mm nut holding the black plastic.
One 10mm nut holding the ECU down.

ECU spliced and test running of SAFC2 and engine start.
Tapping done with 18-22gauge wire tap, red color.
Splicing of MAF wire, done with connectors, that way you can connect back the two leads when removing the SAFC in future.
Once all set, connect everything, including battery, start engine to see if you did anything wrong.
After all confirmed, just put everthing back the way you find it.

All set and done under 1 hour, then follow Initial Setup from Apexi manual page 13.
We have 6 cylinder and arrow pointing up.
Sensor type is Karman.
Make sure you check the TPS voltage.
Setup Knock correction.
All done and ready to tune.
What is a good AFR under full throttle and partial throttle for 2JZ-GE?

does anyone know if the apex afc one and the afc two are different?? if so explain? like does it have more otpions?? does it install any different?? i have an extra one laying around the house and if its the same or very similar to install its as good as done. thanks in advance

Why not look at the manual of SAFC ? They are available from Apexi website. If the pin out requirement the same or less, then it would be good. I believe the SAFC don't have knock. Other than that, it still modifies the MAF signal based on RPM. So 2 wire for MAF and at least 1 wire for RPM, then at minimum 1 positive(power) and 1 ground.

The only difference in the install is the purple knock sensor wire.
SAFCI does not have knock sensing capabilities.
Not a big deal though because even the instructions say not to trust the knock readings; there is a lot of noise that it reads as knock.
Other reasons why the SAFCII is better though is password protection, more rpm adjustment points, smaller design etc
