Default distributerless

Has anyone gone distributerless? I wonder what the cheapest way to go about doing that...

Question

who has succesfully turbo'd a distributor based 2JZ-GE engine with a distributor using MegaSquirt stand alone ecu? Heck, who has turbo'd a 2JZ-GE with a megasquirt period?

turbo. AEM is a stand-alone fully programmable ECU... kinda part of the deal.

How much power are you looking to make? Unless you plan on making over 700hp, you don't need to go distributorless. Boost Logic have made close to 700 on the stock intake manifold and distributor.
