Default What mod should I do?

I have a 1992 SC300. I have about $400-$500 set aside so I can do some small mods to this car. Can't do too much since the budget is small, but any reccomendations?

I can do all of the upgrades and labor myself from my own mechanical experience. But just don't know exactly what I should do to get a little more HP or quicker response from my engine.

I'm open for too all ideas!....

As everyone else said above!!! Full tune-up and BFI. That'll eat up the majority of your budget and leave you with some $$ for McDonalds. You will be pleased with thte performance after those seemingly minor repairs!!

Ha ha ha! Yeah, thanks for the advice! Currently the car is running great! (knock-on-wood!) I just did a minor tune-up and changed the oil, plugs, wires, cap + rotor, and air-filter. I cleaned the throttle body as well. Everything else seems to be running good so far. What exactly does BFI stand for?

I'm about to put the new Enkei LX-M's 18x8.5 all the way around and a new suspension. Thinking about either the Eibach's (1" drop) + Tokiko blue or the Espelirs (2" drop) + Tokiko blue. Not sure what's best, just don't want any gaps in my fender...but don't want my tires tucked either...

I guess I'll just save the extra cash for something else. I'll just leave the engine stock for now.

Do you guys think the Supra NA suspension will be better since it would do a 1.5" drop?

B.F.I. = Big F'n Intake

What you do is open up the stock air box to allow better flow. It actually flows better that a standard aftermarket CAI!!!

search for BFI there are about 150 different right ups and ways of doing it.

i would also suggest a coolant bypass, and delete the EGR. small cheap ways to gain a little power and response.

I'm pretty sure this cannot be performed on ANY of the stock SC300 wheel options.
