ok i got a question for you guys, if i was to buy a sc300 with around 150k miles on it and wanted to turbo that motor so it can be around 400WHP, how long would that engine last me before i would need a new block? is there anyone here with more then 150k miles that has a turbo?

i know of someone that has put about 40k miles on his motor since he turboed it. most of that milage was while producing over 500WHP. he has about 190k on it now. so to answer your question, if you have a really good tuner, you can drive it hard, and not worry about reliability.

Someone on SF boosted his 220K NA and has zero issues with it. It all depends on how well it was cared for.
