Seems to be pointing at the Cyl #1 fuel injector. Exactly what part is broken?

EDIT: Looking closer that's a vacuum switching valve if you are pointing at the upper plug in the pic.

Then that's the VSV for the EGR.

Yea its a VSV. My VSV for the heater broke (or was broken when I bought it), so my heater core wouldnt open up when I turned the heat on. After some research on Supra-forums I found that a VSV out of a late 80's to early 90's Toyota will work (more specifically, Camrys, Cressidas, and Supras I believe...). Go to a junkyard and salvage 1 or 2 "new" VSVs and test em out.

PS. Dont expect them to be a direct hookup, you may or may not have to splice the connectors (1 or 2 wires, no big deal)

What exactly is broken on it? It controls the EGR valve so it's nothing catastrophic if it doesn't work. Most modded engines have this removed anyway.

Yea like Clean said, that VSV isnt a big deal. Alot of people actually remove the whole EGR system (or remove parts of it and block it off). The EGR system recirculates exhaust gases back into the intake. its supposed to increase efficiency but alot of people remove it to reduce intake temperature, thus increasing HP. So you could either salvage a VSV from a yard (look up 'Salvage Yards' up in your local yellow pages, or online, whatever) or you could buy some EGR block off plates and remove the EGR system
