I got a 94 SC300 chasis(automatic) with a 1JZGTE engine with an aristo tranny. I believe my mechanic wired up all the wires correctly and the car started fine(for only 1 day). He turned it on and off and let it idle through the course of the day. However,when he tries to turn it on the following day, the car cranks and fires up but the engine doesn't hold idle. He checked all the wirings, and fuel pump, fuel pressure, everything seems fine. However, the injectors are not dumping fuel into the engine. He checked and tested the injector in his 95 Aristo w a 2JZ, it worked fine. Do u know whats wrong with it? please share the knowledge. I think its a simple problem, but due to that my mechanic only do body works now, he seldom has time to finish diagnos my car. I am emailing everyone who has expertize at this subject and maybe can help me out.

it might be the idle sensor. or quite possibly the ecu. just my thought goodl uck

For me a similar problem was caused by the Fuel Pump ECU. I also had the idle air control motor replaced (which could have been part of the problem).
