Default transmission question .. need some help

so ive decided to build my auto trans. whats the best place to get it done at. keep in mind this is a daily driven car but ill need the trans to be able to hold 1000 hp or atleast some where close to it. also what is the difference between the supra tt auto trans and our trans.? would it be smart to swap to that and have boost logic or some one build it? will i need a new drive shaft? new rear end? also keep in mind im slightly transmission retarded lol i need some help thanks guys

i was also considering going to the chevy 350 turbo or 400 turbo transmission that will hold the power. the custombell housing and flywheel is about 1500 plus price of transmission, custom drive shaft, and install .. will be decently expensive but deffinatly hold the power. is anyone running this set up? or what are some thoughts on this?

BL built tranny is what most people use. What do you have putting out 1000hp?

Hey man,

Don't know what they do for the SC's - but level10 is supposed to build some bullet-proof tranny's.

i checked out level 10 johnny but the na transmission wont hold over 550 no matter what you do to it.

what am i doing to put down that much?? well lets see, 2jz ge block bored 20 over, forged low compression cp pistons, forged carrillo hybrid beam rods, full race ported and polished head over sized severe duty stainless steal ferra valves, aem ems, rc 1600cc 100lbs injectors, the turbo is small for now t04e 60 trim but im getting something bigger soon, and a few other smaller things. also soon on the list some crane cames and all new valve springs etc. ..... the reason for all this? i went nat then blew my motor so i figured i might as well go all out hehe

That would be incorrect.. Boost Logic has run 40+ 9 second passes with their "experiment car" using a built NA tranny, and let me tell you - it has over 550hp.

really from what kean told me (unless i mis-understood which very well could be the case) they have only tested the na trans to 550. but i also called sound performance and they told me the same number on the na transmission. and doesnt sp do alot more when they rebuild the tranny than boost logic? im not completely clear on all this so please correct me if im wrong
