Default Question about snorkel

I wanted to take out my headlight to clean it and ran out of time, so in the process I removed my snorkel in preparation for the BFI I was going to make later this week. Unfortunately, the deal on the stock airbox that i was going to purchase fell through, so I've got to wait for another one.

After putting the headlight back in, I started to wonder whether or not the Lexus engineers knew better than I about taking cold air from behind the headlight instead of shortening the path by removing the snorkel: will I lose horsepower because I removed the snorkel? Should I put it back in?

Thanks for any input,

Michael

No, just keep it off, it should not hurt anything, and if there is a loss of hp you won't feel it. Good luck on the BFI
