Default What is this Tube and Part in the engine bay???

Well I was going through my engine and I found this. Anybody know what it does, goes to, or needs to be connected to? It was just hanging empty in my engine bay, thought it was the washer fluid hose but I know its not that now.

It's not in my engine bay. It almost looks like an extension for the check valve of the charcoal canister in the third picture.

Yeah I forgot to mention it comes out of the bottom of that. (I didn't know that was the charcoal canister until you mentioned that), but it comes out the bottom. I figured it has to connect somewhere, but I'm not sure where.

I have religiously moved every thread you have started to the engine forum. Next time you start one with the word "engine" in it, PLEASE put it where it belongs

So even though it doens't have to do with the engine itself...it goes in the engine part.....that makes sense since I'm talking about a hose and all.
