My Battery light came the other day and I just want to know can anyone give me a reason why. I had advance auto do a check and they said the alt is charging and the Batt is holding a charge.

Go get a second opinion.
They don't come on for no reason. (usually)

My battery light was on and off for months, and there was nothing wrong with the battery or alternator. It would stay on for a couple of minutes after I started the car in the morning, then stay off the rest of the day. Then after a couple of months of that, it started coming on at 65-70+ mph and turn off when I took my foot off the throttle, come on again when I went back up to highway speed, etc. Turned out it was one of my ignition coils, and it was an easy fix. Good luck with yours.
