i found a hks universal harness in a store for like 10 bucks, its just the 3 pin connector with wires sticking out of it and you just splice connect it, or just buy any turbo timer harness and cut off the harness part and wire up the 3 wires, its easy just do it, use the crimp splicer connectors, those are sweet!

^^^ saw it before the edit.

Gave up & hardwired it in. The harness was too much trouble
to get. Anyone who ever used a plug & play harness would
never want to waste the time hardwiring.

$60 to $150 for a turbo timer plus the time to install it vs. sitting in your car at idle for a couple minutes?? I'll sit in the car for a couple minutes and put the cash to something more important, like a boost controller or **** dvd's

Ive always felt that when the turbo timer decides to "cool down" your car for like 5+ minutes that its just enough time for someone to break your window and drive your car up onto a trailer or into their garage around the block.

maybe its just me but I rather not boost the last minute or 2 on my drive home than leave my car running and walk away. at the worst when I really drive hard I give it like 30 seconds and play with the radio or something.

this is pretty funny this thread popped up. I was having this discussion about the TT on my car (ran the wires just not installed yet) and was having an issue figuring out the correct sequence. His response --> That is so 90s LOL

I think in a way he is right...it was a fad that was in the scene and then fast and furious killed it. I was putting mine in since I had it and matched my other Blitz units but I think I am leaving it off. I would not want to walk away from the car unless integrated into the alarm and even then...

We will see. It is already run I might do it just to do it.

yup, any where from 2 to 5 minutes depending on how far I have driven, outside temp and how I was driving. Did the same thing with all my s13's, my Z31, and every other turbocharged car I have owned.

seriously? http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=837&rsku=6524
or google, just type in hks universal turbo timer harness. our cars have two ignition wires to keep the car running. you gotta tap into the 2 ignition wires, the constant 12v and the accessory wire... that's basically the two ignition wires are actually one wire on the turbo timer harness. so that makes it 3 actual wires but you are tapping 4 wires on the actual car. do you need the corresponding wire color codes? post asap, i was about to get pissed about this old thread being bumped but it was a legit reason and was not clarified in the thread.
