Default busted switch

Toyota
90910-12125
4114c

Looks like some sort of vaccum switch... mounted to the intake manifold with line from throttle body on one port and (the one I broke off) and line back to manifold - might be the acis actuator.... anyone got another one I could have??

I belueve it is the VSV - Vacuumj Switch Valve but I could be wrong. I need one also if it is. Lexus wants $90 for it and Toyota wants $89!

Peace,
Jonny

btw, you were right, vsv for egr... didn't figure that out until I studied the manuals a little further...

So if I remove the egr system, I don't need this switch yea? If I run without the switch, anyone know if the ecu will throw code? Seems that we don't need to worry about our temp sensor on egr like TT guys do. If I don't hear from one of you cats with these things I'm going to have get it through the dealer. If I can run without it, I will sell it at my cost to the first interested person....

Incidentally, both Steve Ganz and Curt Ainger gave me much better prices on it than mentioned above... I think I'm going to go with Elmhurst side this time...

Man that intake manifold is a real pita with that egr modulator and pipe..... still trying to get the last stud out to free the egr modulator from the Y section so I can get the ***** trucka out of there... and it's colder than a witches tittie in the garage...

Gotta luv doin' your own wrenchin'...

you could look into an egr block off plate im not sure if it will throw a code or not but i believe there is a way to bypass the the whole thing check out www.mkiv.com in the tutorial section it will have something about all of this
