Default Fan Bearing

The Hydraulic Fan on my SC4 is squeaking - anyone ever change the bearing on these? I'm sure its the fan due the fact that when I spray penetrating lube around the hub the noise goes away. Anyone know the bearing size?

Anybody ??? Maybe I should rephrase it: Has anyone had an SC400 fan that squeaked and if so how did you solve the problem.

I know for a fact it is coming from the fan hub - not the tensioner, etc.

Thanks.

Based on what I see in the digram (see link), the fan doesn't have a bearing. Must be one of the washers making noise - and from what I see in the exploded diagram it will be a PITA to rebuild. I'm going to call around on prices for a new fan motor as the squeal makes my Lexus sound like poo.

Okay, found the problem - my serpentine belt is a ventriliquist ! LOL, even though the sound seemed as though it was coming from the fan - it was acutally the serpentine belt itself. The belt was a NAPA belt that worked fine for about 10K miles, then it started making noise. I replaced the NAPA belt with a genuine Lexus belt P/N 90916-02361 at a list price of $65. The felt covered belt makes zero noise - problem solved. I'm just glad I don't have to spend my weekend rebuilding the hydraulic fan motor which incidentally if anyone needs to know is $325 - for the motor alone.
