Default HP mods - what and how much did u gain?

Guys,

This has kind of been covered before but I think it is about time for another one. List the different PERFORMANCE MODS ( not wheels or suspension - HP gain mods only), how much you paid for them, what kind of difference YOU feel they made.

For instance

93 SC400

X pipe, 2.25 duals,. removed all resonators, stock mufflers - $300 - I notice a good difference - maybe 10-15hp.

BFI - Free - didn't notice a difference in HP, only sound, maybe I did it wrong!!

So list what u have done so everyone can have an idea of mods and budget allocations.

Peace,
Jonny

Hmm... ok then...

BFI... cost me $5 (pop clips), DIY, noticed some pick up when floored
Exhaust... cost me $900 with new cat (mine was stuffed), cat. back, 3" mild steel straight through resonators, twin mufflers with 4" tips... notice some power difference, especially midrange to top end, but too loud for my liking, plus I'm planning to get a new exhaust set up from the turbos~ (ie. twin 2.5" dumps to 3" collector, 3" front pipe, (keep hi-flow 3" cat and 3" mid pipe), 2.5" Y-section piping, dunno what mufflers yet... might fit stock tips back on... still gotta dyno it
Turbos... modified original CT12A turbos, factory looking, hi-flowed housings, steel internals (opposed to ceramic)... a tiny bit of more lag, VERY smooth power delivery... car seems to be using up more fuel though (although it might not be related to this)... $2600
GReddy eManage... dunno yet, but hopefully to be fitted by the end of the month!

I can't say how much for each but I'll toss in what I had to get my dyno results.

Injen Short Ram Intake with a cold airbox and a ram air scoop from passenger foglight to filter.
JIC Bullet Stainless Steel exhaust

Car - 1995 SC4
Dyno - 196rwhp/219.3rwtq

don't have a baseline either sorrie...

This is off of a crappy a/f ratio too....
RPM--------------A/F ratio
3800-------------14:1
4000-------------13.2:1
4200-------------12:1
4400-------------11.8:1
4600-------------11.2:1
4800-------------11.2:1
5000-------------11:1
5200-------------10.6:1
5400-6200-----no idea, dropped below 10:1
6200-------------10:1
6400-------------11:1
6600-------------11.4:1

so looks like either a: since i didn't reset the ecu after exhaust, caused erratic ratios or b: time to invest in a S-AFC. Btw, what's the optimum a/f ratio for NA?

A good place to start is about 13.0:1 safe could push 13.5:1.
