Default 1996-1997 SC300 what aftermarket intakes are you using?

Just wondering to those who own 96-97 intakes, What type of intake are you running and has it affected your idling. I am using a GS300 intake made for the vvti engine and it was working well in the beginning but i am noticing inconsistent idle speeds. My mechanic said it is probably the intake since it is not made for this motor. Injen only seems to make intakes for 92-95 scs. What type of intake setup are the 96 and 97 SC300s running?

I don't think there is a street legal kit for the 2jz's. I could be wrong, but I've never heard of a carb legal kit for the 2jz.
