I just threw in an arbitrary number for some racing seats -- 120 lbs.

I'm curious as to what an aftermkarket exhaust system would do for us.

go to any truckstop with certified CAT scale, $5 to weigh, $1 to re-weigh, you can play there all day
or any lanscaping companies that ship truckloads should have a scale

Were do you find the truckstops? Would look weird to pull into a truckstop with a Lexus... I'll also be needing a good weight because of a robot our school is building (i'm the technichal designer/director).

along major interstates or go to flyingj.com or pilotcorp.com or tatravelcenters.com, and select a location near you these are major ones, majority of them have scales and they are certified to be acurate

Yeah, those stock seats really don't weigh all that much, something like 22/25#, but they're bulky!
Some 5# racing seats would be a bonus I suppose.
I took about an inch of foam from the drivers seat so my hair wouldn't hit the headliner in between haircuts.

I posted a link to all that stuff earlier.

I'm just wonerding if someone knows how much weight that thing saves. The lack of pistons for the trunk makes me a little concerned about how well it stays up on its own. a CF guitine (sp?) still hurts when it falls down on your head, ya kno?

Hey John,
I'm gettin a CF trunk hopefully soon, so I'll let you know. Plus, my trunk shocks are totally out. I'm thinking they'll stay up on their own now, so I won't have to buy new shocks

Is there a way to still reduce weight and keep some of the luxury aspects of the car, like heated leather seats??? I still want a fast car but want to maintain the luxury aspect of it, seem s like stripping it out destroys a lot of that?

100% honestly I have not used the heated seats in the 4 years that I had the stock seats.
I went with supra seats which blend in nicely and they are a whole lot lighter.

the driver seat of the SC seemed to weight over 100lbs compared to maybe 40lbs on the supra seat.
