Need info on 1jz swap
Who in SOCAL area or other areas
done a complete 1jz engine swap SC 300??
is this project worth doing??
I have a complete 1jz in a MA70 / engine harness & ECU
I'm considering doing a transplant>>>into a my lexus sc300 97
would a 1jz bolt up to a 97 SC 300 auto tranny???
can I still use same engine harness???

My sc300 is swapped and i think it is great. The initial power from the stock twin turbos is a HUGE difference in comparison to the 2JZGE.
If you use just a the 1JZ engine, you will have a lot of difficulty getting it to work, this goes with any engine not made for the SC300. If you get a soarer front clip, it will be very easy to get the thing working.

update
When I got my JZA70 clip for my engine swap into my 91 supra it seemed like a easy install..
So far my supra runs like dream compared to a 7MGTE..
So I figured I should go the same route in buying a Soarer clip??
So the next Q/A is where can I get a Soarer clip in SOCAL area LA, SD ???
