Hydraulic pump idler pulley cant remove pls save me
Working on replacing my water pump and my biggest struggle yet is getting this damn hydraulic fan pump idler thing off. I know its supposed to be connect to the ac compressor at the top somewhere but i can't find the bolt. The whole accessory drive area is very slimy please help me! The red cirlce is all the bolt/nuts ive already removed. The green is where people say there is a bolt that goes through the ac compressor but there is nothing there. Any pics or vids would be amazing. It's a 93 sc4 btw.
I see they're on the sides. I was under the impression that they were somewhere uptop and i was losing my mind. I also didnt want to disconnect anything i didnt need to. Thank you man you're a savior!
I'm on this same road and am thankful for this post as I'm at a loss trying to pry this hydro fan out.... so compressor gotta "come out"..
I've actually taken it off a few times atp. Take the tire off and jack it up obv. Couple extensions and a swivel will do the trick everytime. Use the diagram the other guy showed its super helpful for easily understanding where those bolts are. Best of luck!
