Default Gutting cats on sc400?

my cats are filthy and need to be replaced, but i'm ghetto and can't afford cats, so i was just going to gut them out. has anyone gutted cats on the sc400 before? if i do it, will i throw an ecu code? anyway to go around that? thanks!

I deleted the center cat and haven't gotten a ECU warning...?
