Any modified sc's here in sacramento CA?
 

hey just want to see if anyone else from this forum lives here in sac, i have a seen a few sc's that look really good...there is a blue one with chrome rims, bodykit, wing, exhaust, ect rolling around...about a year ago i saw a white one off of stockton in south sacramento that was pretty hooked up, and just tonight my girl said that she saw one by her work, same color as mine with a kit, rims and all of that...where you guys at?:eek:

that blue lexus...what color interior did it have? i tend to travel up to stockton and sacramento alot so maybe u saw my brother or my car ;D

I have seen several ...

white one with complete bomex kit (citrus heights area - 3 sightings)
earlier-model blue one with 20" rims (natomas area - 1 sighting)
earlier-model red one with 18" chrome rims (arden area - 2 sightings)

I have seen those, plus a couple others that aren't too significant to mention. My cousin has seen more than me, although he doesn't own a Lexus at all.

The blue one is impounded. It belongs to a guy from Tap Recycling. He got busted for the mods and nitrous.

Well hot damn....

Maybe it is time to have an SC meet in Sac. Just a mini-meet.

Post back if you guys are interested. Maybe get some dyno time at Motorsport Dynamics off Arden, or lunch time meet.

Yeah, I read about how SD is really cracking down on racers. They even pull you out of bed at 2 or 3 in the morning to arrest you for streetracing.

I remember hearing once that somewhere down south in the 619 you can race if there are cops there watching you.

When I put on drag races in the past, even at a track, we had to have Emergency Medical onsite.

Maybe if the police know about it and have medical help on site they would block off a straight away for you. That is the only way, but you would probably have to have that cleared weeks/months in advance.

yep im down for a meet....would be intresting to see some other modified sc's....actually since i posted this, i met a russian guy in rancho cordova that has an sc 400 with a full bomex body kit and new pearl white paint....not really my cup of tea, but it was cool to actually see another fixed up sc.....let me know wassup:)

So it looks like we got the sac area guys here now so here is what im looking for. Im trying to find a sc300 hopfuly a 95 so I can start building. I called taps but they dont want to sell me a salavged titled SC. Ill take almost any thing at the right price but lower the price the better. Any locals here that can help me?
