Default **Directions to and inside the Park!**

Direction to the Park:

Your best friend - MAPQUEST; Irvine Park's address already preloaded as the destination point

*Note: If you are getting on Highway 261, it is a TOLL Road. To go south, it costs $1.25 and to go north, it costs $1.75. We *may* get on the Canyon Run, so please bring appropriate amount of loose change and dollar bills.

My cellphone - (949) 235-1433...yes, I do get reception in the park because I tested it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We will be located at Parking Lot #2. As you can see, I circled the area in red.

After paying the $4 to enter the park, you will see this,

On the left, you see a sign that looks like this. We will be putting up balloons and a sign to the "ClubLexus BBQ Area"

You will pass by this restroom area on the right side (and you might get acquainted with it very well....)

The parking lot and BBQ area will be on the right side.

You will see a mini-playground

There is a cluster of BBQ areas. We will have balloons on our tables to signal our BBQ area. We didn't have time to make a banner.

Post BBQ Canyon Run

You may need to bring money for the toll road (2461), but we aren't very positive yet we will go that route.

Basically, I drove around to get a feel of the area. But it is a tentative 25 mile run (it maybe go 36 miles, but I went the "short" route).

Here is the route after leaving the park:

1) Exit Jamboree
2) Left on Santiego Canyon Rd.
3) Two lane road merges into one road (keep together since we don't want a slower car going between us)

Short route:
4) Right on Gleen Randy Rd.
5) Left Portolaa Park Way
6) 261 N to ????

Long route:
Not sure yet, but adds another 11 miles to get to the 261N

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please have a FULL tank of gas 'cuz there isn't a gas station within the local vicinity.

If you want a full sized map of the park, please call me so I can fax it to you ASAP!

If I don't pick up, please leave me a number where I can fax it. Please state the phone number slowly. If not, no food for you!
