Is there any individual shop in LA can do 30K service?

I don't wanna spend $500+ to go to dealer for the service.

i have no clue. i spoke with him a couple days ago. I would just call him. shouldn't be much. Just ask him EXACTLY what you want him to do. Great service!

There's LuxuryMotorWorks in Monrovia. Steve is a Lexus Certified Master Technician who owns this shop. Very reputable.

My personal mechanic is located on San Gabriel Blvd. He just did an oil change for me today and he does great work. Over 30 years of experience and he used to be an engineer. PM for his info!

Awww yeah! Love that avatar!!!! I know of another place called "Elite Motors" in Hawthorne, they only work on Lexus's. The head mechanic/owner is a former Lexus tech with plenty of years in the biz. You can try them as well.

Call 411 and ask for their number, they're on Prarie I believe, in Hawthorne. A real mom and pop type mechanic shop, but excellent service.

I thought I'd chime in since I'm also in need of a good place to service my LS. It's overdue for a cambelt change, and is due for an oil change, tyre rotation, brake fluid change, and coolant flush. (it sort of missed its 90,000 mile service) I've had another LS owner recommend The Dr. in Fountain Valley (the location is more convenient for me than Carson)... anyone else had experience with this place, good or bad? Any idea on pricing compared to Lexus dealerships? After the past two service visits to the dealership totalling more than $1000, I vowed never to return to the dealership for service, so I'm looking for an alternative.
