Lowered My NX...

my wife surprised me today with the gift of having my new NX lowered. she ordered the springs herself and scheduled it with the mechanic. when I picked it up I was completely blown away. I can't believe she did this for me, and also how much of a difference a small drop makes on the looks of these vehicles. my NX had 529 miles on it when she dropped it off, so besides tint, this is the first true mod done and I couldn't be happier. new wheels and tires will be here in 7-10 days. can't wait! no pics yet because the car is filthy and it was almost dark when I picked it up.

please post some pics, and parts used. I've been thinking of lowering mine too.

I used RSR Down springs only. ride is almost just like stock. it is a little firmer over harsh bumps but not much. on smooth highways you don't even know the car is lowered. but it looks SOOOO much better. I will be detailing it this weekend and will post up some pics. but the stock wheels look like **** on it honestly, they tuck way under the car and just look blah. the wheels I was going to order are on national backorder with a 6-8 wheel lead time, so now looking at other options. I can't ride on stock wheels with it lowered, it just looks silly.

here are some pics of it cleaned up and after installing the lowering springs. just waiting on my wheels to arrive. going with these wheels, 20x9 with 245/45/20 tires. the chrome lip should blend well with the chrome trim. http://www.asantiwheels.com/asanti-b....htm?type=5806

Def it looks so much better. I want to lower mine and put some wheel spacers, but keeping the factory rims for now.

it does look better. wheel spacers will make the stock wheels look a lot better. if you have the black chrome looking stock wheels, those look good on a lowered NX. I just hate a machined and black wheel. for the money these things cost Lexus (all manufacturers) should start giving more wheel options and let us choose.

Yup mine is a 17 F-sport atomic silver like yours but with the black chrome wheels.

yeah then slap some wheel spacers on there and drop her down. you will be good to go. you won't regret it.

Working on something one of a kind. Really haven’t seen it done to date yet on an Nx. Won’t release anything too soon, yet I saw pics of the pre finished wheels ( just the faces ). Once finished then assembled, more pics will come. Target for “ build “completion is a few weeks. That’s wheels and suspension and then it all failed in. I’ve been waiting 2 months, super excite. More to come
