Popping Noise at start up 2019 NX 300
Bought my 2019 NX 300 AWD Last week, slowly realized every time you start the car and drive off a few seconds later, it make a popping noise. It’s a new car someone said it might be break in period but i don’t believe it, is this noise Normal ? Plan to take to dealership Wednesday to check it out.

Noise where?
Brake actuator is on the firewall, about your left knee level sitting in the seat. It resets itself every time you start moving after cold start up. Or vehicle parked for some time. That results in a clunk type noise coming from under the dash left hand side.
That is THE ONLY normal noise it has.
Take it back. If you pulled into garage nose forward and are backing out, when you stop, you will hear clunck from the rear. It's brake pads resetting direction. Normal. Hondas and Yotas have this ever since I know them.

Yes, the noise seems just like what you described from the left driver side, but I never heard about this noise before from my old es350. That clunking/popping noise can be loud sometime.

Then that mean you automatic parking brake is off. Is the AUTO light on or off. If it's ON you will hear it every morning when you first move your car. I just figure out 2 weeks ago with the same issue. Lexus tec told me the Automatic parking brake is on.

I definitely hear this noise. Its the same time/same place every time: I colds start the car, wait 10 seconds for the rev to naturally drop down, put it in drive, and let it roll forward. About 7-10 feet of rolling, there's a "thunk" noise that I can clearly hear from the drivers seat. But I never hear it again until I do that same sequence of cold starting the car.
Anybody else experience this? Try to replicate the actions I did above in a cold start! Windows can be rolled up as you'll hear it from the interior as long as the radio is turned down.
