If you DIY oil changes
Ok, so here's where I punished myself by trusting my NX.
I did oil change about 3-4 000 miles back.
Usually, I place O'Reiley mileage sticker onto windshield, with mileage written on, when oil was changed. But it was so un Lexus, that I didn't do it.
Instead, in good faith, I entered oil change into the system maintenance log. Set miles to next oil change to 6 000 miles and petted myself on the shoulder.
Well, about a month ago, that pesky "maintenance required soon" warning came up on my display, at 33 000 miles.
The ONLY way to rid of it was to reset maintenance data in dash display.
Well, come to find, it also erased my oil log in the system and now I have no exact idea when next oil change is due.
I am guessing, in about 2 000 miles or so.
It's no big deal, oil change.
But, O'Reilley sticker WILL be on windshield this time. Don't care, how much low class it is.

My neck cares about looking way above our means.
Naah, it's disappointing simply because you trust your car and it kicks you in the nuts. Wife's RX350 does none of this stupidity and it's 2011. Never failed and I do not do stickers. After all, it's Lexus, right? Guess, not all Lexi are made equal.
