why my NX200t will be my last

I can agree with the OP on certain issues , the moon roof, gas cap clunk, nav system, AWD, that’s why I got the base model. For me the moonroof is too far back from the windshield to bring light into front seating area . Overall l am very happy with the car and at over 60k have had zero issues.

I bought it because it was a "Lexus" and I expected more from the name.
Some of these issues were not apparent at time of purchase, I'm sure everyone finds out things they like/dislike only after owning for a while, or going through the first winter or summer.
For example - who would ever expect that the steering wheel is only partly heated ??? and who would expect all the gunk/ice/snow to build up on the door bottoms ???
In fairness there are a few things I really like, but not enough to make me look at another one.
Likes:
- lighted door sills
- lighted door handles
- lock / unlock from any door
- comfy seats and ride (non-F-Sport model)
- decent fuel economy

Wow, someone's grumpy. Some little creature comforts that aren't perfect in your world means it's a terrible vehicle? Seriously, if you get rid of a vehicle because the steering wheel is only partially heated you're going to have a hard time finding any vehicle that is perfect.
What vehicle has everything you want if you get rid of your NX?

hey, I'm not grumpy ~ I just seriously expected better from Lexus!
for my next car .. I'm pretty sure it will be a used bimmer X4
which I'm sure will have its own set of quirky things that I dislike / like.
The purpose of my post was to let people know about my experience and let them make better decisions.
Maybe somebody at Lexus is listening ?? I really wonder if any actual humans have input to design decisions

i like the gas door thump, as it lets me know for sure the car doors are locked.
I love the touch pad, not only high tech appearing, but lots less over shoot than our new RX with lousy ****.

I tested all the luxury brands. they all have issues except the porsche imo. I bought for my wife and she loves the nx. Im a pick up truck guy. go test drive an 80,000 f250 and you will love the lexus more...

You shouldn't buy anything because of the brand, likewise you shouldn't buy that X4 just because "its a BMW". Your issues seem rather frivolous to me.
Some of these "quality" items you have to understand this is an entry level car. Refinement improves as you move up the food chain. Torque steer, its a FWD vehicle...all FWD vehicles have some level of torque steer. AWD on the NX brings the rear wheels into it, but it remains a predominantly FWD car. X4 would be better in that regard as it is a RWD based vehicle.

I agree. Definitely more road noise than our 2013 RX. I know this is an entry level Lexus but I still had higher expectations for a vehicle with an MSRP over 49K. I suspect they rushed the conversion from the Rav 4. With a non-scientific test using the old Mark 1, Mod 3 ear, it sounds louder than my mother’s Ford Escape at interstate speeds. It is a bit disappointing but it is quieter than a Jeep Renegade I recently rented so a little perspective always helps.

Mine seems pretty quiet. It’s not as loud as the 2019 RDX I test drove anyway.

The RX by the way is also a FWD vehicle.
