i pod nano and 2019 NX
 

I'm not sure if I'm showing my ignorance again, but I was going through my devices and came upon my old Ipod nano 7th gen. This thought occurred to me ---- can I connect my iPod to my 2019 NX audio system either as just another wireless bluetooth player, or via usb cable for power?

Well, I answered my own question! I WAS able to connect my Ipod to the system and it seems to work fine. It's a bit more of a pain to use because it's so much smaller, but on the other hand, if I forget my phone, it's nice to have a backup! Another big plus is that I don't have to worry about where to put the phone in the car, I can leave it or take it at my convenience,,and I don't need a phone holder in the car. I have no problem leaving the Ipod in the car all the time, since it's so easy to stash somewhere when I'm not there. Wouldn't dare do that with a phone!

how can it be "..a pain" ..."smaler" ?? you can use the ipod with usb connection directly on the head unit...

You can control your device from the main screen either using the trackpad or the steering controls... I do it every day with an iPod hidden in the armrest compartment and hardwire (USB) connected...
