Default Reading texts while driving

Mod, please merge thread, as there was several of them before.
OK, So I was ranting that my 2015 NX does not read texts while in motion or, will not even announce that text arrived.
No more. I have new LG phone and now texts work flawlessly. It notifies of received text and reads it, when you point adn press Read button.
Have not seen it do emails yet. Not sure why, but it appears that it should. Also, phone paired with NX flawlessly BOTH as phone and audio player. Before, I had to do 2 set ups for each one.

Mine has always done this, 2016 nx and Samsung Galaxy S6, i don't think it reads emails, at least mine is not setup to, but it does read texts after you tell it too on the pop up message and just 1 step pairing.

Probably because of your phone, lots of different phones and compatibility issues, especially if they are running an older version of android or ios, I think newer phones are getting better, I have always had good luck with Samsung phones, my wife has a newer Motorola and also works great. Always something to consider now a days, as things get more advance you have to keep updating your phone to catch up with technology, in Lexus case they are usually pretty slow so haven't seen it as a problem lol.

Well, not to hijack the thread... I could not withstand temptation not to switch to $12 per line service. Through Verizon. That's how 5 yo Galaxy Note 4 retired.
