Default NX300H condensation.

Hi Guys can you help, today morning i got into the car and noticed ice on the outside of my glass front and sides, a cold morning but on the inside it was soaking wet, even when the ice cleared on the outside i had to get a cloth and wipe the inside, is this normal anyone with the same issues.

The only cars I’ve heard about with that much moisture inside the car was in vehicles that have a leak and had water inside. On or under the floor mats is where I would look. It could be a windshield leaking, the drain for the A/C system plugged up, or maybe the sunroof leaking. The vehicles I’ve heard about have not been Lexus cars, but other makes.

Also, check spare tire well.
Modern cars are sealed way too good. Normal humidity inside can easily condensate as it has nowhere to go. Normal. Air is full of humidity.
That said, this is why I am such a big fan of window visors. As you can crack window open to circulate air inside, without letting rain or else inside.
Oh, and before I forget. EVERY Honda we owned was same way. Soaking windows inside - with no leaks.
Basic cure is, if you have no leaks or condensate collected in the spare tire well, is to crack windows open and run fan on high with AC on. AC dehumidifies air very quickly. Now, caveat to that is - do NOT turn heat on. Heat actually, on a cold car, fogs windows, instead of clearing them.
As I seriously doubt you will find leak or else similar. And I swear, I just saw a similar situation post in RX forums. Like few weeks back...

I have also seen this caused by a pinhole leak in the heater coil. I would have a repair shop or dealer take a look at it as this isn’t normal.
