Lexus Extra Care Platinum
Hi Guys/Gals,
I was hoping someone could help me understand what is covered under this warranty package. I have a 2018 Lexus NX300. I recently got a chip on the windshield from a stone hitting it on the highway and need to get the whole thing replaced. Insurance will cover it and the $500 deductible will be "absorbed" by the dealership. However, with the Platinum package shouldn't it be covered anyway, without me having to go through insurance? I can't seem to find any solid answers on this.

Yes, that is the package I am talking about. They said they will cover it but will go through my insurance. The insurance company approved me getting it fixed by another auto glass place but wants to talk to Lexus directly to see what they are quoting. Thanks for your response!
