With the recent snow and cold front, our 2017 NX300h with only 14k miles transformed from a quiet luxury vehicle to a loud rattling Chevy Hatchback.
Have took and dropped our car in for the following rattles:
1) roof rattle: the worst of all during cold weather.
2) rattle coming from the drivers door during warm weather
3) rattle coming from near the LCD screen display when the car is hot or heater on...the plastic around the screen area softens
4) rattle in the subwoofer/trunk area (yes checked the license plate)
5) The dreaded lagging navigation/display corruption issue intermittently.
Luckily our our dealership put is in a brand new beautiful Atomic silver 2018 RX350 with only 295 miles! We definitely know what our next car is going to be. The RX just feels more refined and polished product.
The NX 2nd gen hopefully will be better and more refined like the RX. With the UX being Lexus entry model, I hope Lexus focuses on the NX to improve its finish and quality of a Luxury car.
Anyone else been having these problems?

We have a 2016 nx fsport and I have not experienced any of your problems. I did have some subwoofer/rear hatch rattle, but extra weather stripping behind the license plate fixed that one for me. I have also had an rx loaner and while I do feel it is smoother and more refined, its like comparing my parents es350 vs my is350. Yes, the es is refined, but the is350 is faster, more planted, handles better etc. I don't think you can have it both ways, the nx feels much better handing and sport wise than the rx. I really like the interior and I think the nx is the best Lexus I have had yet, this is coming from a 92 gs300, 08 is350, and now the 16 nx.

Man I wish I was as lucky as both of you...I just got a call from Lexus dealership and just my luck, they cannot get the noise to come back. Luckily I took a video of the rattle from the roof and hopefully it will help them narrow it down. I just hope they do not take down the headliner just to look for the problem rather than know what is exactly causing the issue! Their lead tech is out today sick so hopefully tomorrow he can come in and figure it out. Fingers crossed...

2015 with 33 000 miles... no rattles...
Sorry, gompka. Our 2011 RX350 will beat NX to the punch. It has that very nice elastic acceleration that NX lacks so much.. and has 60 000 miles on it. That it feels like a cow, that's different story but it's surely more agile. That V6 is amazing... Listening to whine in turboed 4 is no fun...
