NX Vin Question
 
Please kindly help me out for the vin number vehicle information listed bellow.

Japan manufacurer Model 2015
Lexus NX300h
Chassis number AYZ15-1003647

I bought this Lexus NX300H from Japan
This is accident car, i bought it all the spare parts from Japan and now it has been fixed but the vehicle didn't start.
We have tried all programming machine to decode the module but the machine is asking for VIN number
The VIN number is for America manufacturer which is 17 number but in Japan is call Chassis Number which is 12 number
i need someone to help me to work on this Chassis number for me to get VIN for this vehicle.
Please and please for any body help.

The last seven digits represent the serial number of the car. I don’t believe there is a “translation” but you may be able to create a VIN for the software based upon the information and Chassis number you already have.

Lexus breaks down their VINs like this. From the website above, you should be able to gather all the necessary info, i.e. manufacturing plant, attributes etc.

For example, the graphic below is a real 17 digit VIN to a 2015 Lexus NX,
but missing the last four digits for security purposes.
The VIN is broken down by separation and defined color code. You should be able to gather the info on your car and create a VIN for the software using YOUR car’s serial number which would be unique to your car only.https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...e38f1e544.jpeg
