Need help with pricing
Hello guys,
Need some help here! My friend is looking to buy a 2018 Lexus NX300. The MSRP is 42500. She is willing to pay all cash, what % discount should we ask for off?
Thanks!

A friend of mine purchased today 5/16. MSRP $45,333 base 2018 model with premium and navigation packs, power tailgate, park assist, heated steering wheel, accessory pack 2, all weather mats and door edge guards. $40,800 sell price plus tax and fees (cash deal). Approx 10% discount in NJ. I only got around a 6% discount on my NX F-Sport January 2017.

Seriously? 20%??? TBH, that's more like pre-owned pricing and since your going with a cash deal, less opportunity for the dealer to pick up a little extra cash. But hey, if you can find a dealer willing or reluctantly to offer a 20% discount on a 2018, please let me know, I'll be second in line to get a deal like that!

Ditto, I requested some quotes yesterday for 2018 Fsport with Navi and Triple Beam LED headlights etc MSRP @ 47XXX..I sent offers factoring around 11% discount, waiting to hear back. Right now incentives are crap, hopefully between June-august, this changed. Looking to buy between now and July.

Never tell the dealer that you are going to pay cash, until the purchase price has been finalized.
All you should tell them is that you will buy today if the numbers are right.

I have found a couple of really good deals on some 2017 L Certified models. I found a couple of 2018 models that if they would have given me 10-11% off I would have considered it, but I can't even get them to come down that much. So I will probably be going with a 2017 model.
