Q: Rolling windows down/up by keyfob? (NX300 2018)
I'm new to this board.
I picked up my wife's 2018 NX300 about 2 weeks ago.
I can see some titles on Youtube, showing rolling down/up windows with keyfob remotely.
I tried few times, it didn't work, maybe my operations were not correct.
Thank you!

If the NX is like other Lexus models, the ability to use the fob to roll down windows is available via a dealer only custom setting. At your 5000 service, you can have the dealer change any of the dealer only custom settings. You can have that done one time at no charge. After that one time, the dealer will charge you to change those settings (or you can buy the Carista smart phone app or a copy of Toyota Techstream software and the appropriate OBDII connector, which will allow you to change those settings yourself).

See attachment, these are all the settings that you or the dealer can program (For option #16 and beyond).
Although it is for a 2017 300h, I used it to show my dealer what I wanted before delivery of my 2018 F-Sport ...
The dealer will do the pgm of these option once only for free
Once option (#24) programmed by the dealer, hold the unlock button for 3 seconds and it will open all windows + the moonroof too. You can for option #20 Wireless Remote Window Operation Buzzer that confirm the operation
Be aware that you can't roll them backup with the remote
Enjoy

I tried pressing and holding Unlock long enough this morning, but windows won't roll down.
It seems I have to ask the dealer to reprogram in the first service.
Thanks to all.

Go to the dealer or get techstream and do it yourself and be able to diagnosis your vehicle in the future which is an added benefit. Techstream is VERY thorough in what you can see/do...it's quite awesome.
I have techstream and did that feature with the windows down w/fob. I also changed the volume of the flashers/turn signal, and increased the slight tap turn signal from 3 flashes to 4.

Thanks -Nigel,
After reviewing the programmable settings posted by slypx, I think the only change I wanted is the windows rolling down w/ fob as of now.
TechStream might be too complicated for me. Thank you!
