They ended up charging money after a long waiting. I believe the dealship will also charge for a labor on top of MSRP. I will wait until Android Auto to be added it since this is not a free update.

Thats a suggested price from Lexus for the dealer to charge. The only way to know if you’ll be charged is to ask the dealer.

I installed the Toyota version on my Camry with the Panasonic unit yesterday, it worked fine. It took 60 minutes with my engine idling.

My dealer is doing it for free with my 10k service, since I accepted to be the scapegoat and being the first car they are trying to do the update. I will know later today when I get the car back.

Dealer did it for free, since I was the first car they are trying. In fact they were not aware of the retrofit until I asked them about it.

I wonder if it's also applicable for European cars. In the PDF files it's said Market: USA, however maybe someone's gonna try ? Anyone from Europe? I am outside the country so I can't be the one for a moment.

Steps 18 & 19 state Reload the Enform App Suite and Reload the Lexus eOwners Manual. Does anyone know if this is necessary and if so, are there instructions out there?
