I saw this NX F with a hood scoop today. Any idea what it is for and where this person got it? I checked Lexus.com to see if it was an option and couldn't find anything.
That's not available from Lexus. The owner either had that made or made it himself. As for the use of it, great question. MAYBE the owner swapped to a subi style overhead intercooler. That would not benefit he stock intercooler.
The owner of the shop wasn't there when I got there but once he calls me I'm going to ask him who's car it is. In a few years I plan on doing some mods to my truck just for fun and to say I did, and it's not the scoop that I'm interested in, it's what is under the hood. The shop is called Samurai Motors in Vegas and they do some crazy stuff!

Not sure. Yoshi just got back to me he said that he made the hood custom. I'm going to be lifting my NX and putting a bull bar on it in like a year or two so that's why I asked. Not right away, I want the stock warranty to run out. I asked him what he was up to with that car.
