Default NX 200T Ride

Hi All, new member from the land downunder. Been a NX 200T owner for over 6 months for now. In Australia NX's come with Bridgestone Dueler OEM tires. I have noticed that the ride is very firm and i can feel every pebble on the road. Not sure if its the Tires or the shocks in general. Wondering if any others out there have experienced the similar issued?

thanks

W

I actually like the bridgestone on my F-sport better than the dunlops that came on the base model the road noise was terrible, I would say it could be the suspension it is a bit stiffer on the sport.

Mine is F sport got it 6 mo ago. When they delivered from the dealer they put pressure about 41 psi on Bridgestone dueler tire. It was little harsh ride. Now I run on 35 psi and is a lot better.
Check your tire pressure.

Thanks Guys, mine is standard NX and not the Sports edition. Do you know if the suspension can be adjusted to be a bit more soft/comfort?
Also i have lowered the tire pressure to 33 PSI.

We have the standard NX also. I don't know of any adjustments possible to the suspension other than changing springs. Replacement springs will probably be shorter and stiffer, no help. We like the ride and handling on our NX, it's a good compromise between too soft and too stiff.

When I was on OEM 17" wheels, the ride was soft and super smooth. Now I'm on 19" with summer tires, the ride is quite a bit firmer. If you're willing to go as far as a downsizing the wheels for a softer ride, give the OEM 17" a try (not sure if 17" are being offered in Australia though).

They go for pretty cheap on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-LEXUS-N...7/302366127374

The NX has a stiff ride, regardless of what tire you use. Mine came with Yokohamas and they're crappy tires. My car came out with 32PSI and the ride was fine. They pumped it up to 35-37 during winter and that gave a hard ride. I've lowered it back to 32PSI recently as recommended on the door sticker, and the ride is less harsh. But no matter what, the NX is a firm ride you can only do so much with tires.

Mine was delivered with 38 psi, according to the sticker it should be 33 but I like 35 too.
